Spin-dependent hadronization in Pythia

The seminar focuses on the modeling of quark spin effects in hadronization in the context of the recently developed string+3P0 model and on its implementation in the Pythia generator. The latter is achieved via the external package StringSpinner and allows for the simulations of polarized deep inelastic scattering and e+e- annihilation with spin effects. The simulation results as well as the comparison with available data are presented and discussed.
